Julie : Mr. Kim. Is it true that Korean students go to institutes after school until 10 o’clock at night?

Mr. Kim : Unfortunately, it is true. Most high school students go to institutes until very late at night.

Julie : Wow. What do they learn there?

Mr. Kim : English, math, science etc. Mostly academic subjects to help them get into a good university.

줄리 : 미스터 김, 한국 학생들이 방과 후 밤 10시까지 학원을 다닌다고 하는데 사실인가요?

미스터 김 : 불행히도 사실이에요. 대부분의 고등학생이 저녁 늦게까지 학원을 다니지요.

줄리 : 와우. 거기서 뭘 배우는데요?

미스터 김 : 영어·수학·과학 등등. 대부분 좋은 대학에 가기 위해 필요한 과목들을 해요.
